Neuropsychology, Autism and Threat Assessment

LAN and KEY interview Dr. Rudy Lorber, a neuropsychologist and clinical psychologist who is board certified in school and behavioural psychology. He is also a Certified Threat Manager (CTM) and has presented at the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP) and Canadian Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (CATAP).

In Part 1, he discusses the diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and the Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) model used to develop greater skillsets in individuals to help them become more independent.

Dr. Rudy Lorber also addresses positive reinforcement as a behavioural principle that aids in interventions.

In Part 2, Dr. Rudy Lorber discusses the subtle variables and motivations needed to be identified when managing and diverting a threat pathway to violence.
